Devang Shah is WAN-IFRA award-winning filmmaker and creative technologist. With over a decade of experience producing, directing, and editing films, he has worked across India, Ghana, South Africa, Ethiopia, Panama, Thailand, France, and the USA, collaborating with local artists and global organizations.

A former BBC and Viacom18 producer, Devang loves to push boundaries of storytelling with new technologies. As a beta-testing artist for all major generative AI platforms, he is defining new genres of visual storytelling with his projects spanning areas where cameras cannot reach. Devang won Luma Dream Brief making an official entry to Cannes Lions 2026 in the first ever AI Craft subcategory.

An engineer to his core, he holds degrees from VIT University, Vellore, The Fletcher School at Tufts University, Harvard Law School, and Harvard Divinity School, and remains dedicated to challenging norms and opening new perspectives through his work.

If not traveling for work, Devang divides his time living between Mexico and India.
